I truly believe that I am very lucky to have a job which I love, a wonderful family and group of friends and want to give something back and so I do have a couple of voluntary board memberships. I am also a member of pro manchester's Business of Law Panel. The Panel's remit is to connect key business sectors in Greater Manchester.
The role of pro manchester's sector groups is to identify the challenges and opportunities in key business sectors, develop links and open up new business opportunities. Each sector group has its own dedicated committee, bringing together the experts in that particular field. Together, the sector groups map their sector’s role in Manchester, the region and the UK. They also work to take on sector issues and look at ways the experts within our membership can respond to these.
My hobbies are my lovely Spanish husband, Peter, my hormonal, hairy and grunting 19 year old son, Jack , walking the dog, gardening but only in the summer, shopping (NOT window), cooking for friends, reading when I get a minute, riding my motorbike (but am a fair-weather rider), watercolour painting (badly) and very sadly, reality TV shows..
